Drafts of the main atrium of the Central Voentorg building based on remaining archival materials considering the whole of the project of reconstruction of the complex. Drafts of the new side atrium.

The work on adaptation of the modern project of the well-known main atrium of the Central Voentorg building in Moscow (the former House of the Economic society of officers) to its historical appearance was carried out after an order from Mosproject-2. The draft keeping continuity between the new atrium and the project of the architect Zalessky was developed according to the remaining archival materials. Even though the number of floors and the functional purpose of the building changed, it was possible to keep the main atrium almost unaltered.

Moreover, sketches of the side atrium in the modern part of the business center were drawn. The design of the interiors that were newly added after the reconstruction is developed on contrast with the main atrium and not connected in any way to its historical image.
